CORGI OOC CLUB 2003 CLUB MODEL
I am able to give additional details as follows:
The model is the same vehicle previously released as OM 45503 i.e. fleet number 4780 (780 GHA) and will be on route to New Brighton. I understand that the real bus is preserved in Northampton and is currently being returned to the refurbished livery which has a maroon (not black) roof with long white centre panel. Completion is due in time to celebrate Midland Red's centenary in 2004. The club model will carry this livery.

I have not been able to acquire a photograph of the real bus for use in the Gallery. Can anybody assist? please email me (click here) if you have a photograph that I could use.

CORGI OOC OM44102 OPTARE SOLO STAGECOACH NORTH WEST
Just as Corgi are about to release the above model, I am grateful to Rob Brockie for advising me of the following which may be of interest to you, he states "Stagecoach have pulled out of all their services based on their Fleetwood depot and route F4 is no more! Some provision for services to Fleetwood has been provided by extending the trunk Preston/Blackpool services, but the vast majority of provision in the Thornton/Cleveleys/Fleetwood area has now been taken over by a re-arrangement/extension of several Blackpool Metro Coastlines routes.
Stagecoach Northwest continue to operate Solos on their Blackpool/Wesham service which has a different version of their route branding style."

NEW CASTING FROM CORGI OOC?
I have received various reports that Corgi OOC are in the process of developing the "new" East Lancs. body as a new casting for possible release 2nd half 2003 to compliment the "old" East Lancs. models in the current catalogue. I understand this vehicle comes in various body types and chassis in both single and dual door. The rumours suggest that all variations may be modelled as there are minimum tooling changes to produce the different variations. Further details will be given as soon as I hear anything.

GALLERY PHOTOGRAPHS
I would like to thank all of you who send me photographs for inclusion in the Gallery. This is a very popular section of the site and it's success is down to those who contribute to it. Over the last few days I have received photographs within a matter of hours of publishing details of a model. These being the TWM Metrobus, GM Standard Fleetline and Leyland Titan whose photographs I am publishing today. Yesterday I received the Titan photograph from Mark Colegate less than 1 hour after publishing the EFE release sheets!

If any of you have photographs (of buses that have been represented in model form) that you have taken and would like to share with other visitors, please email them to me. If your photographs are in print form and you do not have access to  a scanner and would like to contribute, please contact me via email and I will let you have my address. I will be very happy to return original photographs after use and refund postage.
