PRESS RELEASE FROM THE NORTHCORD MODEL COMPANY
The following press release has just been released from The Northcord Model Company:

NORTHCORD MODEL COMPANY - PRESS RELEASE

ADL Enviro400 MMC

UKBUS6504 Stagecoach in Oxfordshire

Following the significant success in launching the brand new casting of the Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC model in the livery of National Express West Midlands, Northcord Model Company is now releasing the second livery on the 10.9 metre long, single-door casting – UKBUS6504 in the livery of Stagecoach in Oxfordshire.

UKBUS6504 represents fleet number 10684 (SN66 WHC) that has 10.9 metre, single door bodywork and was new to Stagecoach in Oxfordshire in 2017. 10684 carries standard Stagecoach provincial livery and destination details for route 3 heading for Rose Hill.

Additional details that the model carries include the wifi and contactless logos on either side of the front destination, and contactless logo above the entrance door. The model also correctly features the opposite-facing seats at the end of upper deck saloon.

The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC UKBUS6504 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square, gasket-mounted windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the UKBUS6504 model is its single tree protector at the front. The front dome on the model is significant, with curved windscreens on both upper deck and lower deck.

Northcord Model Company is also creating new design standards within the interior of both saloons. These features, inside the compartments, will represent the real, outstanding layout of the Enviro400 MMC, such as the extensive portrayal of handrails on upper deck and lower deck, etc.

The brand new 10.9 metre Enviro400 MMC bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan), 80M Bus Model Shop and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS6504 model is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide.

LONDON BUS MUSEUM "ON THE BUSES EVENT" TODAY 24/06/2018
I visited the Museum today, very hot with unbroken sunshine. A member of staff told me it was 31 degrees on the ground floor in the Museum and 38.4 on the mezzanine floor where the Punch and Judy man was performing!

The Museum shop had the first two production version models of their jotus.com commissioned AEC ST models on display. The Museum are still hoping the remainder of the models will be received by the end of July. I have attached photographs showing the production versions of the models, together with a photograph showing real Thomas Tilling liveried vehicle (outside the Museum on display) on which one of the models will be based. Also attached is a photograph of the real AEC RT2177 which was also on display and is to be represented by EFE model 34112.

AEC ST stock codes are confirmed as the following:
RS-76652 - London Transport
RS-76653 - Thomas Tilling

NEWS OF AN IRISH COMMISSIONED BRITBUS MODEL FROM ADRIAN LEMON
Adrian has written to me this evening advising of a new Britbus commissioned Irish model:

"I'm pleased to announce a final release of the Britbus MCW Metrorider as DublinBus Local-Link route 203 to Carriglea. This represents one of 10 MCW long wheelbase metroriders as MB6 to MB15, MB1 to MB5 were short versions, Dublins differed to ones in GB in having a tall destination box like the ones in Hong Kong. All built by Metro Cammell Weymann.

MB10 (88 D 31372) is carrying the "LOCAL LINK" as used on these vehicles in the late 80's-early 90's. The livery used the 2 tone green of D.B with added cream roof and pillars, the introduction of these minibuses predated the wider introduction of the fleet of over 100 minibuses called City Imp of which I was half the duo of the EFE commission of said City Imp model!

The new release of only 200 models features bus MB10 on route 203 to Carriglea which is a small estate in the suburb of Tallaght, the model is exclusively available from myself and is priced at €40 + €5 p&p. (PayPal lemon1970@eircom.net)"

Adrian has advised me that he will be taking stock of the models tomorrow (Monday 21st May)

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM TTC DIECAST
TTC Diecast have made the following announcement a few minutes ago:

**NEW RANGE ANNOUNCEMENT **

So a few of you guessed, but we are spreading our wings and our new range is 'Buses Model Co'. They are Hong Kong based and mainly model CMB and KMB models. We have stock of all their available models at the moment, and will be agents for them for anything new.

It is an important relationship for us as BMC are manufacturers of their own models in die cast.

Our prices should match the prices being offered in HK, with no high delivery charge, or change of having to pay import tax.

The range can be found here:

PRESS RELEASE FROM NORTHCORD MODEL COMPANY
The following press release has been received today from Northcord Model Company:

NORTHCORD MODEL COMPANY - PRESS RELEASE

ADL Enviro400 MMC - UKBUS6503 Stagecoach London

Northcord Model Company is pleased to announce the release of UKBUS6503, the second release of the long awaited 10.3 metre 2-door casting of this distinctive, modern, double-decker in the United Kingdom. The second livery to be carried on the brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC model, is Stagecoach London with standard London red livery.

UKBUS6503 represents fleet number 10347 (SN16 OLO) that has 10.3 metre, dual-door bodywork and was new to Stagecoach London in April 2016. 10347 has a Euro6 diesel driveline and is based at Stagecoach London’s Romford Garage where it operates on busy route 498 which runs between Brentwood and Queen’s Hospital.

The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC UKBUS6503 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-cornered, patented quick-release windows of the real bus and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the UKBUS6503 model is its single tree protector at the front. The front dome on the model is significant, with curved windscreens on both upper deck and lower deck.

Northcord Model Company is also creating new design standards within the interior of both saloons. These features, inside the compartments, will represent the real, outstanding layout of the Enviro400 MMC, such as the additional ventilation equipment on the upper deck ceiling, and the extensive portrayal of handrails on upper deck and lower deck, etc.

When compared with the previously issued UKBUS6501 (Enviro400H MMC) in Go-Ahead London livery, UKBUS6503 is fitted with the brand new rear dome representing the basic, diesel version with lower-located service number blind aperture and grilles above the lower window.

The brand new Enviro400 MMC bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan), 80M Bus Model Shop and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS6503 model is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide.

PHOTOGRAPH OF GUERNSEYBUS OPEN TOP AEC REGENT III - RT
Further to my news of 3rd April, please see below a photograph of the actual bus to be modelled (courtesy of Dave Arnold) by the 1:43rd scale IXO Hachette model. From a photograph I have seen of the model, it looks like the blue of the model might be too light. Having said that, I will reserve judgement until the model is released as the model photograph could be over exposed etc.

PRESS RELEASE FROM NORTHCORD MODEL COMPANY
The following press release has been received this morning from the Northcord Model Company:

NEW CASTING

ADL Enviro400 MMC - UKBUS6502 National Express West Midlands

Following the significant success in launching the brand new casting of the Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC model in the livery of Go-Ahead London, Northcord Model Company is releasing the second version – UKBUS6502 in the livery of National Express West Midlands.

UKBUS6502 is another launch model of the new family of castings and this is the 10.9 metre long version with 1 door.

UKBUS6502 represents fleet number 6126 (SN15 LGV) that has 10.9 metre, single door bodywork and was new to National Express West Midlands in 2016. 6126 carries a full and colourfully branded livery for route 50. The special, comprehensive livery and branding are 100% reproduced onto the UKBUS6502 model. The stand-out features of the branding are : the “up to every 4 minutes” frequency, “24 hour service” and the prominent route number “50” along with the key locations served that are repeated on the front, both sides and the rear. Fares details are carried in the first nearside window.

The model also correctly portrays the name “Verity” that is carried on the front, below the windscreen on the nearside, and on the rear, at the top of the engine cover on the offside, of the bus 6126.

The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC UKBUS6502 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square, gasket-mounted windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the UKBUS6502 model is its single tree protector at the front.

The UKBUS6502 model is limited to 1500 pieces worldwide.
