Octo Models Ltd owners of the model bus website www.ryanbus.com are pleased to announce that they have commissioned Creative Master Northcord Ltd (CMNL) to produce a very limited quantity of a model bus local to Octo Model’s shop in Hull

The model is a Dennis Trident with ALX400 body carrying the livery of Stagecoach in Hull with ‘Frequento 15’ Route Branding

Fleet No 18429, Reg No: YN06LLZ is one of a batch of 11 Alexander bodied Tridents (18425 -18435) which entered service in April 2006 and were the first buses launched under the Frequento "Low Floor & Frequent" branding.

The release of this model is expected in November 2008 and pre-orders for this limited edition of 300 pieces are being taken exclusively by Octo Models Ltd via their website: www.ryanbus.com or by post or telephone to:

"Grahame Hawkyard, for many years the Chairman of the MODEL BUS FEDERATION died yesterday Sunday 31st August after a long illness. Grahame form Southall in West London was a life long London Transport fan and was a first class model builder and diecast collector. He was a guiding hand in the MBF and a well known, well liked  face at Bus Rallies and events. He built up a large collection of London buses from his youth up to the present day and his famous  Uxbridge Trolleybus layout was a familiar sight at exhibitions and events. He started his career at James Whitson & Co the coach builders in West Drayton and trained as a draughtsman with the firm. Whitson were also more famous as builders of the Green Goddess Fire Appliance. He was 73. He will be missed by many bus collectors and fans. Myself and him were close friends for over thirty years".

UKBUS8008 Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart

Creative Master Northcord Limited is pleased to announce the release of Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart UKBUS8008, the 10.7m long wheelbase version with gasket windows of the casting of this distinctive modern single-decker in the United Kingdom.

The fourth livery to be carried on this version of the brand new model is Transdev Yellow Buses. UKBUS8008 represents fleet number 515 (HF57BKN).

The ADL Enviro200Dart went into service with Transdev Yellow Buses in December 2007. The livery is based upon the concept of ‘the brighter bus company’ both in terms of bright yellow and branding recognizes the ownership of Yellow Buses by Transdev and also retains the strong local identity.

The Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart UKBUS8008 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, gasket windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible.

Creative Master Northcord is creating new design standards in the layout of the interior in the replica. These features inside the compartment represent the really outstanding layout of the Enviro200Dart, such as the additional seats on the wheel arch on the offside, and extensive portrayal of handrails in the compartment.

The brand new Enviro200Dart bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Transit Graphics (Australia), Porte Publishing Company (Japan), cnmycar.com (P.R. China) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS8008 model is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide.
