CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD PRESS RELEASE

Although it does not relate to British Model Buses I thought that the below press release received from Creative Master Northcord Ltd may be of interest to a number of you:

‘Going round the Bend’

Although negotiations with all interested partners to produce the Hispano-bodied TIBS bendy-bus had almost reached a satisfactory conclusion, CMNL regrets that the project has now been cancelled.

Obtaining the final agreement to license production of the model proved a final stumbling block.

CMNL wishes to reassure its collector fans that the recently announced Citaro bendy-bus will come in on schedule during the first part of 2005.

PRESS RELEASE FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD

UKBUS1017 TransBus ALX 400 - bodied Trident

UKBUS3008 Plaxton Mini Pointer bodied - Dennis Dart

London United

It is such good news to both London bus model collectors and British bus model collectors. Creative Master Northcord Limited (CMNL) has proudly released its latest bus models for London United, one of the well known London bus operators in the Capital. They are UKBUS1017 TransBus ALX 400-bodied dual door Trident and, UKBUS3008 Plaxton Mini Pointer bodied-Dennis Dart.

Both replicas feature excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door and engine detail. Each is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Like all CMNL bus replicas, the models have no ugly metal poles to hold them together.

UKBUS1017 has special features, representing the special requirements of the Transdev Group e.g. the additional two LCD monitors on both upper and lower saloon, ramp on the rear-door, etc.

UKBUS3008 features the new standard livery on London United’s Pointer Dart. Those MPDs were ordered for London route 272 which started operation on 25 May 2002 running between Stamford Brook Garage and Chiswick, Grove Park and Shepherd’s Bush Green.

Both UKBUS1017 and UKBUS3008 models are limited to 1800 pieces worldwide respectively. The two brand new bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively.

TWO PRESS RELEASES FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD

City Sightseeing Glasgow Tour

UKBUS0005

Creative Master Northcord Limited (CMNL) is proud to announce the imminent release of its fifth specially commissioned model. In this instance the model has been commissioned by City Sightseeing and appears in the livery of City Sightseeing Glasgow Tour. The base for this special model is the Plaxton President Open top Dennis Trident casting and the model is certain to be a collectible item due to the precise application of the City Sightseeing Glasgow Tour livery. The model is numbered UKBUS0005 in a special series for commissioned models.

The eye-catching livery is applied with care to ensure that its multi-faceted icons and motifs are represented like in real life. The smooth sides of the Plaxton President base model assist in the application of the complex livery and ensure that no detail is lost. This replica is a one-piece casting whose construction ensures that there are no ugly metal poles to hold it together.

The City Sightseeing Glasgow Tour bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. These models will also be available through certain City Sightseeing outlets.

UKBUS2009 – Go-Northern

UKBUS2011 – Blue Triangle

Plaxton President-Bodied Dennis Trident

After a bit of silence about its Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident replicas in the last couple of months, Creative Master Northcord Limited (CMNL) has proudly released its latest single door and dual door versions of this casting. The single-door UKBUS2009, in exclusive Go Northern livery, and dual door UKBUS2011, in Blue Triangle colours, will again soon be the focus of attention from bus model collectors as well as from bus enthusiasts.

Both replicas feature excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door and engine detail. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Like all CMNL double-decker replicas, the models have no ugly metal poles to hold it together.

UKBUS2009 has special features, representing the special requirements of the Go-Ahead Group e.g. the long, sideways-facing seats on the lower saloon, big destination blind at the rear, etc.

UKBUS2011 features the standard requirement of Transport for London (Tfl) e.g. dual door layout and additional partition on the driving compartment.

Both UKBUS2009 and UKBUS2011 models are limited to 1800 pieces worldwide respectively. The two brand new Plaxton President double deck bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively.
