News_London Bus Museum 100711

I attended the members only day at the Museum with my daughter and friend Tony. The new Museum is very impressive and work is still very much in progress with displays, screens etc being worked on. It will be a superb facility when complete. The Museum is situated in the grounds of the Brooklands Museum so you get the added bonus of being able to look at the motor racing/aviation exhibits on display as well. The Museum will be opening to the public at the beginning of August although work will still be continuing ahead of a formal opening ceremony at a later date (to be announced).

The Museum commissioned EFE model 36002B was on sale today. As yet the Museum does not have a phone line connected and they are not taking orders for the model. Richard the shop manager will be letting me have ordering details when work is sufficiently advanced and phones connected etc so they can accept orders.
