Further to my news article of yesterday, the picture below shows V541 ESC in the latest Airlink Livery. The Photograph was taken on Waverley Bridge in Edinburgh whilst waiting to depart to Edinburgh Airport.

MORE MODELS FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD
It is rumoured that CMN will be releasing a Dennis Trident Plaxton President bodied model in the livery of Lothian Airlinks. Additionally that a two door version of the Dennis Trident Plaxton President will be released in the new year, the first model being in the livery of Metroline. I further understand that the Open Top Lothian Sightseeing model may be released in October/November.

I will let you know as soon as I hear anymore on the above.

I understand that this model will be released in City Sightseeing livery only and thus the ONLY release on this casting, it will not be certified and the intention is to market through tourist shops in all the locations that City Sightseeing serve.

RETURN FROM HOLIDAY
I have just returned home from holiday to be greeted by a huge pile of emails which will take me some hours to go through. I have also discovered that my email went down yesterday 17th August, unfortunately I will not be able to rectify the problem until tomorrow. If you have sent mail in the last few days that has been returned as undelivered can you please resend it tomorrow evening. I will endeavour to acknowledge all the mails I have received during the course of this coming week.

STAFF HOLIDAYS
Due to staff holidays the "office" will be shut for a couple of weeks. Look out for the next  bumper update which will be on 19th/20th August. In the meantime please keep the news items coming in and if you are out and about and you see any buses that have been represented in model form, please mail me a photo for the Gallery. I will deal with all correspondence on my return.

COMMONWEALTH GAMES SPECIAL MODEL - EFE WRIGHTS RENOWN FIRST MANCHESTER

I am grateful to Peter Crichton for sending me a photograph and details of this model.

Peter was a guest of First at the Commonwealth Games  on 31st July. His company have been helping with the scheduling of the Athlete's buses and he was given one of the models as a souvenir. It is a limited run of 400 and is solely for First Group to present to it's employees who have been involved in the games.
