Lothian Buses purchased 4 brand new Open Top Tridents in 2000 to complement older open top Olympians operating the Classic Edinburgh Tour. All were delivered in an updated version of the white and blue livery complete with Tartan trim and tartan seat covering. Subsequently the buses were repainted into the familiar City Sightseeing colours and Lothian Buses also acquired the tour operations of rival company MacTours and Guide Friday (trading as the Edinburgh Tour). During 2002, 32 was renumbered 632 although external fleet numbers are not currently carried. In keeping with recent repaints of Olympians, 632 and its sisters will be repainted during 2004 and will carry City Sightseeing Edinburgh Tour fleet names rather than the current Edinburgh Tour City Sightseeing legend thus giving greater prominence to the City Sightseeing identity.

I am very grateful to Richard Walter for providing the above information.
