I am very grateful to EFE for providing the text and photographs for this page:

Saturday 14th May, was a very special day for Exclusive First Editions, Franks daughter Diane got married at a very beautiful wedding. This wedding was made even more special for the guests as they were lucky enough to be transported from the hotel to the church and back again on the only remaining running 10T10, which belongs to Cobham Bus Museum.

A number of the guests were transported all the way through Epping Forest on this gleaming Greenline 10T10, it looked spectacular travelling down the road towards the church, this 1938 pre war vehicle, amongst today’s modern vehicles, it did stand out from the crowd.

This coach T504c registered ELP228, was specially decorated for the day with route blinds showing ‘St Peter’s in the forest 14th May 2005’. As a memento for the guests Frank had 144 models of this bus made, and two have been kept behind to give away as a competition prize for EFE subscribers. The winners, who are yet to be drawn, will be very lucky collectors as they will have in their possession not only a lovely model, but an extremely rare one. Collectors would have seen Dianne’s graphic work on many of EFE models, including this one, made especially for her wedding.

This was made possible through the generosity of the Cobham Bus Museum, and their volunteers, 2 of whom actually drove the coach, so a big thank you to them!
