On 17th December 2021 , a
social media post on the Model Buses Collection Facebook page stated
"We are Extremely Excited to Announce the Launch of “Model Buses Creations” a partnership between ‘Iwen’s Bus Bits’ and ‘Model Buses Collection’ of Twickenham. In partnership with Stagecoach London, Northcord and our first Unique ‘Britbus Kit’ with variation choices included to give the choice of Irish and UK
versions. Our biggest Announcement is our Northcord ADL MMC : MacMillan Cancer Care, Stagecoach Release in early 2022. All profits are going to The Amazing work of the MacMillan Care Teams. A project very close to both Iwen & Myself"
On 26th November 2024 Model Buses Collection announced that "We are extremely excited to say, we have recently finalised negations with Danny Chan of Northcord Model to purchase the Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Dart tooling set, this consists of all versions of the tooling, which includes; Short wheel bases, Long wheel bases, Pre facelift bumper design, Facelift bumper design, Bonded glazing, Gasket glazing. The first three models MBC1001-1003 were released during September 2025, please see details in the lists of models below. On 29th August 2025, MBC announced "Model Buses Creations (MBC) is pleased to announce the expansion of our product range by the inclusion of the Polish-built double-deck Scania OmniCity bus from the Northcord Model Company. These products will be classified as MBC 20xx MBC have released 5 different versions of the Scania OmniCity including 2 Stagecoach London, Stagecoach South and 2 Factory delivered versions in Dealer White and All Red. After a 12 month period of negotiation and planning MBC was able to reach agreement with Scania (GB) and Northcord Model Company to purchase this collector favourite as part of the MBC product range The version of the Scania OmniCity that will be modelled is based on the N230UD or N27OUD chassis".
